Professional counselling and trauma-informed therapy for individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, grief, abuse, stress, depression, and emotional overwhelm.
"Most people arrive carrying things they've never said aloud to anyone. That's exactly where we begin."
Wafa Sheikh is a trauma-informed counselling psychologist with a Master's in Counselling Psychology and a BSc in Clinical Psychology — and over 2,000 therapy sessions of lived, frontline experience behind her.
She has worked in deeply complex spaces: alongside social workers, lawyers, and police assistance teams, supporting survivors of domestic violence, emotional and sexual abuse, and POCSO-related cases. This isn't just clinical knowledge — it's a practitioner who has sat with real people through real pain, and found the way through with them.
What sets Wafa apart is her ability to be both things at once — clinically rigorous and genuinely warm. Clients describe her presence as "soft and strong at once." She draws from CBT, REBT, EMDR, Person-Centred Therapy, and an eclectic approach, tailoring every session to the person in front of her — not a diagnosis, not a protocol.
She works with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, burnout, abuse recovery, and the quiet emotional weight that comes with motherhood. Clients from across India, the GCC, the UK, and the US trust her with the parts of themselves they've shown no one else.
Each service is delivered with full trauma-informed care, deep empathy, and a personalised approach to your unique journey.

I began our session with the attitude that "I may be broken in how I function — how do I fix myself?" and ended with "I can't believe I've overlooked so much I've done and not given myself credit for it. I'm proud of where I've come." There is this intrinsic kindness in your being and aura — which you bring to everything you do. It's soft and strong at once. And such a gift to have that as a healer. And such a gift to have you as my healer. Thank you so much.
I reached out to Wafa during one of the most difficult years of my life — adjusting to motherhood in a new country, far from family. She understood things I hadn't even said out loud yet. For the first time in a long time, I didn't feel alone in what I was carrying. She gave me a space where I could just be — without performance, without guilt.
I was sceptical about online therapy at first — I didn't think it could feel as real. But within the first session I felt genuinely held. Wafa has a rare ability to make you feel completely safe, seen, and never judged. I've worked through things I'd been carrying for over a decade. I'm grateful every single week.
As a mother dealing with postpartum anxiety, I felt like everyone expected me to be happy — but I was drowning. Wafa was the first person who didn't minimise what I was going through. She helped me understand that asking for support doesn't make me a bad mother. It makes me a human one. I'm a better mum because of this work.
I came with years of unprocessed trauma from an abusive relationship. Wafa never rushed me, never made me feel like a case to be solved — she made me feel like a person worth understanding. The EMDR sessions were transformative in a way I didn't expect. I feel lighter than I have in years. Genuinely life-changing work.
Three kids under five, a full-time job, and a marriage I was quietly losing myself in. I didn't have a name for it — I just knew something felt wrong. Wafa helped me find the words for what I was carrying, and more importantly, helped me see that I mattered too. Not just as a mother, not just as a wife — as a whole person. That shift has changed everything.
"The only step that matters is the first one."
